Kia Ora Hayley,
ReplyDeleteThis is Charlotte from the Summer Learning Journey, and I will be commenting on your posts during your time participating in the SLJ.
The poster you created about your family history/cultural background was awesome. I really like how you used a picture of Australia as the background, what a creative idea! Do you prefer living in Australia or New Zealand?
I noticed that your family has a lot of animals, my family only has two - one dog and one blue-tongued skink (do you know what they look like?), what is your favourite animal?
To be cybersmart, could you please edit your post and replace your family name with the word ‘family’?

Kia Ora Charlotte,
DeleteThanks for you great feedback! I much prefer living in New Zealand , because there is much less bush fires. Once we were in our backyard and it started raining ash! We were really scared because the bush fire was really close to our house. And then the day we were moving out to move to NZ the fire siren went off and the house just down the road was on fire!!!
I have heard of a blue tongued skink before! They are really cool!!! My favourite animal would be every single animal in the world because I am such a big animal lover and I love every animal! What is yours??? Have you ever lived or travelled to another country???

Kia Ora Hayley,
DeleteBush fires sound scary! I haven't heard of it raining ash before - that must've been very terrifying. Lucky there's nothing like that here in New Zealand.
Blue tongued stinks are very cool, our one is called Susan. I don't think I could decide what my favourite animal is either, maybe dogs or bunnies.
I have never lived in another country, but I have visited quite a few! I really enjoy travelling and I like to learn about new cultures and experience new things! Have you visited any other countries besides Australia and New Zealand?
Hei konā mai
