Squiggles
Yesterday my brother, Tim (https://matawaitimd.blogspot.com/) caught a small and very cute mouse, in Anne's garden. He took off his gumboot and caught the mouse inside just before Anne's black cat pounced onto it. Together we called him SQUIGGLES!!! Have you ever had or have a pet mouse.

I must confess, I am a little scared of mice. One ran across Katie's legs in our house yesterday and gave her a HUGE fright. Did you know, our cat opened one eye and did not even budge off his comfy cushion?

What sort of home have you made for him?

ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of Mice ad rats either. Poor Katie, if a mouse ran across my legs it would give me a huge fright too! What a useless cat, I thought cats were supposed to go and chase them. You said "What are you feeling squiggles?", But were you meant to say "What are you feeding him?"
We are feeding him corn, cheese and some other food scraps. We made him a high plastic box with holes in so he could breath and we also added straw for the mouses bed. At night when I was sleeping I woke up because of a big continuous banging noise I got up to see what it was an it was Sqiggles trying to jump out banging his head against the plastic box. Mum and dad put the container in the washing machine with the washing machine lid shut just incase he did get out, we don't need a mouse running around the house!
