SLJ Prize Giving!!!

In the Summer holiday I participated in the Summer Learning Journey. The prizes were finally given out, YAY!!! Our cyber smart teacher gave them out to us/the children how participated in the SLJ. I got 1st place and was rewarded a set of head phones. I am very happy with my work and prize here are some photos . . .

2019 Awards

This year has been a successful year for me, earning many trophy's and certificates. I started this year by getting a medal after completing the Weet-Bix tryathon in Gisborne. I have received  many certificates this year, however I am not going to list them all because there is more than 30 of them and it would take forever. I also got two 2nd ribbons at AG day this year, one for my lamb Lulu and one for my dog Cindy. I got another 2 trophy's at St John's prize giving, (for more info about St Johns I have done a blog post about it) one for 1st in caregivers and 1st in first aid. Then we have the school end of year break-up/prize giving. I got a ukulele certificate from my ukulele teacher and 4 school wrist bands and a trophy for Perseverance with another school wrist band. I have had a great year and can't wait for 2020!

Prize Giving!!!

Every Monday night my parents take my little brother and I to Gisborne (a one hour and 15 minutes from home) This is because my brother and I are enrolled in a St John Youth programme. I have been doing this for 2-3 years. The reason I enrolled is because when I was really little around the age of 3, I wanted to be a doctor and my Pa being a helper in the hospital got me a real doctors uniform and I loved it! Now, I want to be paramedic so ever since I was little my dream hasn't changed a lot because I've always enjoyed helping people, plus I don't squirm when I see blood and bones and that kind of stuff. St John Youth programme offers more than just first aid. At prize giving I received 1st for best first aid and 1st for best caregiver.
