The next step, for trialing the Summer Learning Journey is to 'Step it Up' basically we take another drawing from Art Colouring Book and examine the textures, designs, colours, patterns, lines etc. Here is the picture I chose to examine...
I noticed that there are dots, lines, curves, textures, shapes, frilly edges and colours (peach, coral, blues :light blue, dark blue, forest blue: whites, greys and creams.)
(In case your wondering what the Summer Learning Journey is... it's a programme that runs over the Summer Holidays, the Programme sets tasks for you to complete. However you don't have to complete every task set for you, it's completely optional! Last year I tried the Summer Learning Journey and loved it, I also almost completed 100 blog posts over December and January.)
Do you think you would ever try the Summer Learning Journey?
Kia ora Hayley,
ReplyDeleteI like the contrasting colours you used in your art - it makes it look really different.
What other paintings would you like to colour in your way?
