Autumn Acrostic Poem

About a week ago I wrote an Autumn Acrostic Poem. Here it is -

A = Acorns fall like missiles from broad tree branches
U =  Umber leaves raked into a pile
T = Tranquil waters descend to lower temperatures
U = Unfallen leaves ready to drop when a bitter gust of wind blows
M = March the 20th is here again, Autumn blows in
N = Next year the same will happen again!

Have you written a Acrostic Poem before?

2 Week Drawing Challenge

One of my fellow class mates, Isabel. Recently created a 14 day challenge I thought it was a great idea and decided to make my own. However, I changed it up a little and instead of having random tasks like for example - Read a book about a famous person or learn what X axis and Y axis is. I did drawing related tasks. Here it is -

The photo didn't turn out very well so, if you can't read the tasks in the boxes here is what each one says -

Day One - Yourself
Day Two - Your favourite animal
Day Three - Your favourite food
Day Four - Your dream house
Day Five - Your Best Friend
Day Six - The cover of your favourite book
Day Seven - Your favourite dessert
Day Eight - Something in your favourite colour for example - If your favourite colour was Blue then you could draw a Blue T-Shirt.
Day Nine - A character or scene from your favourite movie
Day Ten - Your favourite lolly for example you could draw a lollipop
Day Eleven - An outfit
Day Twelve - A Christmas present you wish to receive
Day Thirteen - A place you'd like to visit
Day Fourteen - ANYTHING AT ALL!

Tin Stilts

Because of the Corona Virus outbreak and being at home in Isolation, my brother and I have been busily creating. A couple of days ago we made a pair of stilts. Here's how we made them. We used 2 tin cans like this one -

Then we flipped then upside down and drilled 2 holes in the sides. Next we threaded some rope through the holes. I made a diagram below to help you understand the steps -

After walking on them for a while they slowly break so I recommend using Golden/Maple syrup cans because they are stronger. My brother and I made another pair of stilts afterwards using wooden blocks.
