Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Delicious chocolate chip cookies, soft on the inside and crispy on the out!
Here is how to make them...

Ingredients:

- 125g butter
- 1/2 cup Soft Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Caster Sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
(I used 2 tsp instead to make the cookies have more flavor)
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups Self raising flour
(If you don't have Self raising flour use normal flour and add 2 tsp baking powder)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line 2 trays with baking paper. Beat the butter, brown sugar, caster sugar, vanilla and egg until pale and creamy. Next sift in the flour and salt, add chocolate chips
and mix until the mixture is all combined. Create teaspoon sized balls and place them onto a baking tray, press down lightly with a folk to flatten them out. Bake for around 10-15 minutes.
After baking, leave to cool for around 5-10 minutes.
ENJOY!!!!

Here are some pictures of the Cookies I made! They were VERY tasty...

Your cookies look amazing. This is a different recipe to the chocolate chip cookies I make, so I would like to try this recipe.
Do you find it hard to wait 5-10 minutes to let them cool? I do, as I love having them straight out of the oven!

  2. Kia Ora Mrs Bennett,
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I do try it hard waiting for them to cool down. I also love having them straight out of the oven and sometimes I snatch on really quickly while no one is watching!

    Bye for now,
    Stay safe and well
