Achieving Others Dreams

I asked my brother what his dream job would be and he said that he would like to be like our Dad an electrician. Fixing problems in houses connected to cables, wires and pretty much any thing electrical. To help his dreams I could. . . P.S - If the slide isn't going fast enough, try pressing the arrow keys to make it go faster.

  1. Mōrena Hayley,

What cool and supportive ways to help your brother to achieve his dream of being an electrician! I enjoyed watching the slideshow that you made, it was very interesting and definitely caught my attention!

I noticed that one of the ways that you thought you could support your brother was to help him study, I thought that this was a great idea! I’m sure your brother is very grateful that he has such a supportive sister!

    What is your dream job?

    1. Bonjour Charlotte,
Thanks for you feedback on this post, I really enjoy reading and replying to all of your comments. I did a slideshow to mix it up a little instead of just creating a piece of writing. I am glad that you liked it!

Yes, he is very grateful to have me even though we annoy each other from time to time. I wish that sometimes I had a older sibling to help me! Do you have any siblings? Are you the youngest, oldest or middle child of your family? I am the oldest age 11 of a younger brother Tim age 9.

My dream job is to be a paramedic. When I was a small child I always wanted to be a doctor and my Pa on Dad's side worked at the Hospital and so he brought back a real doctor's uniform. I think that it was a surgeon doctor's uniform. When I was around the age of 7 I wanted to be a vet and then from there on once I had heard about a paramedic and what they do I wanted to do that and I still do! I travel an hour to go to St John in Gisborne every Monday night to attend St John Youth Division Programme. At St Johns we learn first aid and life skills but we not only do first aid we learn sign language etc. Earlier this year I went to a competition without my parents just my friends and a couple of students from St John, we did tests and because I had been studying and training hard my team got two 1st places. I have a small blog post about St John Prize Giving called Prize Giving it is not about the competition but has a little more info about St John. How did you come across the Summer Learning Job???

    2. Kia Ora Hayley,

I enjoy commenting on your posts! You always put a lot of effort and hard work into every post, which makes them very fun to read/watch!

WOW being a paramedic would be very cool. Paramedics help so many people - it would be a very rewarding job.

I have heard of the St John program! It seems very cool, the skills you learn there sound like they are skill that will be useful throughout your whole life!

Good luck with achieving your dream to be a paramedic!

I cannot answer all of these questions sorry, this is because I need to watch what information I put on the internet - to make sure I'm being cybersmart.
