A Splash Of Colour On The Streets!

The Summer Learning Journey challenged me to visit a website, on the website it had pictures of street art in Christchurch New Zealand. The SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) then challenged me to chose 2 pictures of street art, write and identify similarities and differences between the two.
Here is my work . . .

These 2 pieces of artwork are similar because . .  .
- They both have a lot of blue
- They both have animals in them

These 2 pieces of artwork are not similar because . . .
- They aren't in the same place
- One picture is on land and the other is underwater

What else do you see between the 2 pictures???

  1. Kia Ora Hayley,

Street Art can be so beautiful, did you know in some places they have streets dedicated to street artists, this means that anyone can go to these streets to paint! I have been to one of these streets in Australia and it was so cool! The artwork there was awesome! Have you seen any street art before?

The two pictures of street art seen in Christchurch that you have shared on your post are very creative! You found many similarities as well as differences between the two pictures. I really like how the artists of these paintings have used a blue colour scheme throughout the piece. What is your favourite colour?

Both these paintings include animals! What is your favourite animals seen on these paintings and why?
