Rivalries

The Summer Learning Journey Programme challenged me to brainstorm 3 rivalries. Rivalries for example are 2 businesses selling the same things competing for the consumer dollar.
These are some rivalries . . .

Holden vs Ford - Both car companies competing for consumer dollar via sales and also on the racetrack for bragging rights and sponsorship dollars.

Bunnings vs Mitre 10 - Both hardware/DIY/Garden Centres competing for consumer dollar.

Pak 'n' Save vs Countdown - Both supermarket retailers competing for consumer dollar.

  1. Kia Ora Hayley,

Your post on the rivalries between different companies caught my eye immediately! This was because you the images you included in your blog post. What cool images - I really like how you used the colours generally associated with those companies as the background and then blended the colours together in the middle, very creative!

You came up with some good and very well-known rivalries. What is your favourite company from each rivalry? Which companies do you believe are better?

I noticed how you included information on how Ford and Holden not only compete for the consumer dollar, but also for sponsorship deals on the racetrack? When you say this are you talking about race cars? Or a different type of racing? Do you enjoy watching any type of races? What races do you watch? I like to watch running races, I think that it is so amazing how fast they can run!

    Ka mau te wehi!

    1. Kia Ora Charlotte,
Thanks for replying on this blog post, I really do love reading and replying to them. I really appreciate it.

My favourite rivalries from each category would be . . .
Out of Pak 'n' Save vs Countdown I would choose Pak 'n' Save.
Out of Bunnings vs Mitre 10 I would choose Mitre 10.
Out of Ford vs Holden I would choose Ford.
What do you think what is your favourite company out of each category???

Yes, I am talking about race cars. I don't mind watching racing, I mean I like it but it isn't my favourite thing. I like watching races in the Olympics.

      Ma Te Wa,
      Enjoy your holidays,
      Hayley :)
