Kia ora, I am a year 8 student in Room 4 at Matawai School in Gisborne, New Zealand and my teachers are Mrs Bennett and Mrs Allan.
Kia ora Hayley,
ReplyDeleteA fun way to turn your writing into shakespearean english. The sun translates to the 'travelling lamp'! Who knew?
It sounds like you have a few jobs to do in the morning. How long does it take you to water your garden? Do you have a watering system? I water my garden either using the hose or a watering can. It is not very big so I can manage it this way.

Hi Hayley! I really enjoyed reading your recount, you are exceptionally good at describing and it felt like I was experiencing what you wrote about. I really liked the fact that you are energetic and it feels like you always take care of everything. It must be hard to water a massive garden. How long did it take for you to water it?
ReplyDeleteNext time you should write information on what the Summer Learning Journey is, so that new people who don't really know what it is can get to know about it. Other from that you have created a phenomenal post. Keep up the great work!

Kia Ora Hayley,
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool website! What is your opinion on it? The Shakespearean version of your story makes it sound like you are from the olden days! What do you think life was like in Shakespeare’s day? I think that there would be some good differences and some bad ones.
The story you wrote is also very good! I think that it is awesome how many animals you got to see/hear in one morning! What are you favourite animals out of all the ones in your story?
Have you read or seen any of Shakespeare's plays? I studied some at school, my favourite was Romeo and Juilet because it was full of excitement and had lots of surprise twists in the storyline! What is your favourite?
