Australia's Fires

The Summer learning Journey has challenged me to list '5 Ways To Help Australia's Bush Fires'. I used screencastify to record my thinking's. Also I think that I kinda understand how it is to have fire close to home because when I was little we had ashes falling down on our 18 acre farm in Australia, I was very scared.
How would you help Aussie???

  1. Kia Ora Hayley,

The bushfires in Australia are a big issue at the moment, and is being recognised as a massive problem by people all over the world, New Zealand has even sent some firefighters over to help!

The screencast you filmed of the 5 ways people could help Australia’s bushfires was very good, I had never heard of the program ‘screencastify’ before, is it easy to use?

As for the 5 ways you came up with to help the Australia bushfires - what good ideas! I think that sending goodie bags and fuel are great ideas, because the most important thing at the moment is to try and keep the people and animals safe. What are some ways we could help the animals?
I also think that donating money to help people rebuild their homes is a very thoughtful idea.

    1. Kia Ora Charlotte,
Yes, the bush fires are a big issue. New Zealand firefighters have been sent over to Australia like you were saying, and I am glad that my parents or grandparents haven't been sent over yet.

Yes, screencastify is very easy to use (maybe I could do a blog about it??)

My Mum found a website/a post on Facebook that has list of things that you can make and send over to Australia to help the animals. These things list as . . .
      Koala mittens, Blankets etc

      Ma Te Wa,
      Happy Holidays
      Hayley:)
