The Summer Learning Journey challenged me to pretend that either John Kirwan, Mike King and/or the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge asked us to design a poster for there organisation. Here (below) is my poster . . . This organisation also wishes that you donate a gold coin to help fund counsellors for children. Have ever heard of gumboot day???

Gumboots are a part of our New Zealand culture, what are some other things that you can think of that are a part of our culture?
Do you wear gumboots often? I think that they are usually worn on farms but I have even seen people wearing them while going shopping, where are some places you are likely to see people wearing gumboots?
